Fáilte! We are an informal group that meets twice a month for casual conversation…in Irish!
All levels are welcome! The purpose of our group is to facilitate casual, unstructured conversation as Gaeilge. Are you new to Irish? Bring your cheat sheet! An bhfuil tú líofa? Ól cúpla píonta agus labhair le daoine eile!
On the second Tuesday of every month at 6pm, we meet at Daniel O’Connell’s Irish Restaurant & Bar in Alexandria. On the fourth Sunday of every month in the evening* , we meet at Ireland’s Four Courts in Arlington.

Directions to Alexandria
Daniel O’Connell’s Irish Restaurant & Bar is located on King Street.
Metro: King Street-Old Town metro stop (Blue Line). You can take the King Street Trolley for free to the bar.
By Car: There is ample parking in and around Alexandria. If you park near the King Street-Old Town stop, you can easily catch the trolley. 220 N Union Street Garage is within walking distance and quite affordable (~$10/day).
Directions to Arlington
Ireland’s Four Courts is located on Wilson Boulevard.
Metro: Court House Metro Station (Orange Line). Take the Strayer University/Clarendon Blvd exit and then it is a short walk from the metro station.
By Car: Ireland’s Four Courts recommends the following if coming by car: Metered parking is available on Wilson Boulevard, Veitch street, and the AMC Theater parking lot.
